île de Ré was a natural spot where to start. This is a small island on the west coast of France where Pierre spent his summer vacations as a child, a very special place with unique and stunning surroundings.

SALT is a documentary in English and French exploring the making of sea salt in Île de Ré and how a group of young salt makers have saved this ancestral tradition from extinction. They got an unexpected and invaluable hand in the process...

Pierre grew very found of the people he interviewed and filmed. He quickly became friend with Willy, Michèle, Cyril and Fernand. It was also a great experience to interview Top Chefs such as Thomas and Thierry.
