Ars Summer 2022
Les cousines Lataud pas vues depuis des décennies!!! Trop sympa! Yves, Régine, Christine (anciennement Christiane :)), Elizabeth et Pierre.
Silvia & Marco B. are visiting from Milan. The weather was so…so… but it was great to see them! We found later that we all got Covid19 together.
Shortly after, The Triplets arrive from Austin TX.
via Paris where they probably got sick…
They quickly feel better…
Catherine & François P. arrive, after a walk in Saint Martin, we meet Anna & Laurence at La Cible for dinner.
The next day, delicious lunch at Michelle et J-P. A. in La Faute with Catherine & François. Very warm and beautiful day, I even swam in their pool but also in the ocean!!! It did not happen in a long time… It looks like the beginning of a sunny and hot summer!!!

An other amazing dinner party at Isabelle & Jérôme P. in Les Portes en Ré with Christina & Daniel R. Funny that we all live in Miami beside our 3 Texan boys.
Sailing to have lunch at La Cabane de la Patache. Who’s not very confortable?
The Miraculous catch!!!! François & Pierre caught 18 mackerels in less than 2 hours!
Talking about fishing, lets see what the experts are up to: Odile and Gérard have developed a very efficient fishing technic….
And more dinner parties at Laurence & François with Véronique & Philippe D., but no mackerels… Laurence is the best cook!

Directly from the plane to La Martinière for the best gaufre and ice cream EVER!!!!
We play, go to Donin, meet friends, swim (it is very hot this year) go boating, have picnic at the beach, make pizzas…
Jules arrive for couple days with his partner Anaïs who we love having part of the family!
Martine & Catherine join us. I had not seen my sister in 3 years!!! Happy to be together again!!!
And soon after Elsa & Virgile…
Big family reunion!
We go fishing for crabs, we bake with Jules & Anaïs, eat a lot of goodies, dance at La Java des Baleines, take donkey rides and go in the bump cars (Virgile favorite activity).

Great family time! This year Charlotte et Isabelle did some chores: took the huge garbage cans out to the main street all by themselves and back in 4 times a week for 1 euro each, each day so they could get themselves some tattoos!!! They also went back and forth to the market all by themselves!!!! They loved it! All of a sudden they were grown up…

Shortly after we left for our yearly walk, Danielle, Arthur, Charlotte & Isabelle leave Ars to meet their friends in the Pyla (there was enormous fires just a few days before but it is all settled when they get there).
They leave directly from there to Miami! Bye Bye see you there in October!

Lots of visites from the family, visits to the cemetery and a “bar en croûte” chez Rémi to celebrate our birthdays!

After Dubaï, Abu Dhabi and England, we are back in Ars where Pascal set camp. Happy to spend time with him and our friends Christine and Roger B.
