San Antonio, TX. November 1, 2016

First stop San Antonio! We checked-in at the beautiful Emma Hotel, enjoyed a nice swim and the hotel amazing design!.

The following day, we visited The Missions which were recently added to the UNESCO World Heritage Sites:

starting with The Mission San José,

then The Mission Concepcíón,

and ending of course with  The Alamo.

En route to the next stop... an 8 hours drive to Clovis, NM with an impromptu picnic stop in Sterling City, TX. What a feast! Michel "loved" it... He ate 1/2 a celery... 

Dinner in a local "Benihana Style" restaurant in Clovis was also quite an experience! Being cautious, Véro and Isabelle had a picnic in our hotel room, Michel & Pierre were appalled!!!

Early start next day direction Santa Fe, NM. via the beautiful Pecos River valley.
