Basque Country. July 27, 2018

We took a break from Pierre’s parents installation in Paris and rode the TGV to Biarritz for a long week end to visit Dominique and Jacques G. in their vacation home in Ascain. Jacques and Pierre were together in business school many years ago along with Nick with whom we went on the sailing trip in the Adriatic (see previous post). They both live in London today.

One of the top attractions in Ascain is to climb up the Rhune. Great hiking, this time on the Western end of the Pyrénées very close to San Sebastian and the Spanish border.

Jacques initiated Pierre to Professional Cycling, which went surprisingly well outside of few bruises…

We took a long walk on the beach of Bidart…

and enjoyed Dominique and Jacques beautiful property.

It was nice to catch-up with old friends. Another TGV ride back to Paris to complete Pierre’s parents installation, the actual move is scheduled in few days.
