Lausanne, Switzerland. August 7, 2016

Warm welcome in Lausanne by Martine (Isabelle's sister, on the left) and Catherine. It is great to get to know their place and life in this beautiful city on the shore of the lake Léman.

Walking through Lausanne, visit of the Cathedral, the City Hall, lunch at bar à café Le Barbare, and cruising along the lac Léman.

Visiting the Olympic Museum.

Driving along La Corniche and admiring the vineyards on the hills overlooking the lake, it is of stunning beauty!

We went to the tip end of the lake through Vevey, Montreux, and the Château de Chillon. 

Ending the day with a celebration dinner, enjoying filets de perches au Café de la Poste in Lutry. 

Last evening in the Ouchy neighborhood, dinner at Le Vieil Ouchy (aka Le Viril). On the menu: röstis de la maison, croute au fromage, meringue à la double crème de gruyère.            Vive La Suisse!
