Mexico Baja California Sur
We are visiting Agathe for her birthday and discovering the area where she lives now, San José del Cabo. It is a charming city growing very rapidly in a spectacular natural environment. Lots of very high end hotels resorts and private residences where mostly californians and texans vacation or retire, great opportunities for Agathe to work her magic with Amanecer. Very good Farm to Table restaurants, we enjoyed very much Tamarindos.
We love all the art, animating the streets!
We rented a house on The East Cape “Casa Pulpo” from Clay, Agathe’s friends. It is located on the beach with amazing views on the whales all week! They come to the sea of Cortez to deliver and train their babies before heading to colder waters.
Mother and baby in the turquoise water! Taken with Pierre’s drone.
We celebrated Agathe’s birthday twice! First at her friends Debbie and Jimmy:
We did a one day road trip going around the Peninsula of Los Cabos:
First stop in San Antonio, historic capital of BCS. Now it is La Paz a bit further north.
Then we stopped in El Triunfo, it used to be a gold and silver mining town, the chimney was once thought to be designed by Gustave Eiffel…
And charming Todos Santos.
ON THE DAY, we had a party with Agathe’s friends catered by the delicious Amor Amor.
Yin yoga with Agathe is a very special treat!
The preparation:
The End… :)))
Between the whales and the yoga, walks on this pristine beach with the cows :)) are just the best!
There is only a few beautiful houses, I think the most beautiful is James Perse’s:
Au revoir, thank you for a great week! We will be back soon…
